Dr. Janet C. Clark
Chair
Dr. Janet C. Clark is Chair of the Board. Janet joined the Board in 2002 and served as Chair of the Advancement Committee and Vice Chair of the Board before becoming Chair in 2006. She currently serves on the Executive Committee. She and her husband, Murray ’75, are the parents of one current student and two alumni. Professionally, Janet is a pediatric dentist in the Indianapolis area.

Dr. Matthew Hayes President of Brebeuf Jesuit
Dr. Matthew Hayes is President of Brebeuf Jesuit. Jesuit educated, Matt is a graduate of Loyola Academy in Chicago and Xavier University in Cincinnati. Matt became President of Brebeuf Jesuit in 2006 and serves ex officio on all board committees. Before coming to Brebeuf, Matt worked for 11 years as the Chief Education Officer for the Archdiocese of Louisville and 14 years as Director of Religious Education for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis.

Rev. Bradley Schaeffer, S.J. Vice Chair
Rev. Bradley M. Schaeffer, S.J., is Vice Chair of the Board. Joining the Board in 2006, he also serves on the Executive, Governance and Jesuit Identity Committees. From 1991-1997, Fr. Schaeffer served as Provincial of the Chicago Province. Currently he is Rector of the Weston Jesuit School of Theology in Boston, Mass.

Dr. Michael R. Twyman '83 Secretary
Dr. Michael R. Twyman is Secretary of the Board. He is Director of Grants of the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust in Indianapolis.Michael is an alumnus of Brebeuf, graduating in 1983. He joined Brebeuf’s Board in 2004, serving on the Admissions Committee and the Educational Programs and Planning Committee. Currently he serves as chair of the Long Range Strategic Plan Committee and the Executive Committee.

Mr. John Ackerman
John Ackerman is a founder and managing director of Cardinal Ventures LLC located in Indianapolis. He and his wife, Kathy, are parents to two Brebeuf alumni. They have also been very active on the Advancement Committee, most recently heading up the Alan Henderson Golf Tournament. As a Board member, John serves on the Finance Committee and Governance Committee.

Ms. Shaun Clifford '78
Shaun Healy Clifford is a graduate of the class of 1978 and is a partner in the law firm of Baker and Daniels. Shaun joined the Board in 2004 and serves on the Executive Committee, the Governance Committee, and is the board liaison to the faculty/staff Forum Committee. Shaun also serves as chair to the Advancement Committee and is the parent of two current Brebeuf students.

Mrs. Paula Ingram Coleman
Paula Ingram Coleman became a member of the Brebeuf Board in 2005. She and her husband, Greg, Class of 1978, are parents of two Brebeuf alumni. Professionally, Paula is the Special Gifts Officer at St. Vincent's Health, and she is also an opera singer. Paula serves on the Governance Committee, and is also very involved in the Diversity Advocates Group.

Rev. Michael T. Conley, S.J.
Rev. Michael T. Conley, S.J., was ordained by the Society of Jesus as a member of the Chicago Province on June 9, 2007. He currently serves at St. Procopius Church in Chicago. Rev. Conley joined the Board in 2007 and serves on the Educational Programs and Planning Committee.

Mr. Michael Corr, Jr.
Michael Corr, Jr., joined the Board in 2005. He is vice president of Meridian Real Estate. Michael is a co-chair of the Building and Grounds Committee. He is also a member of the Executive Committee, Advancement Committee and Jesuit Identity Committee. He and his wife are parents to two Brebeuf alumni and a current Brebeuf student.

Mr. Mark Gargula
Mark Gargula joined the Board in 2005. He has been the chair of the Finance Committee for the past three years. He is also a member of the Governance and Executive Committees. Professionally, Mark works at Ernst & Young LLP. Mark is the parent of a two Brebeuf alumni.

Rev. David Godleski, S.J.
Rev. David Godleski, S.J., has served the Brebeuf Jesuit Board since 2005. He is a member of the Jesuit Identity Committee. From 1998 to 2006, Fr. Godleski served as the vocation director for the Chicago Province of the Society of Jesus. He now works in University Ministry and teaches mathematics at Loyola University Chicago.

Mrs. Edna Gray
Edna Gray joined the Brebeuf Board in 2007. She was co-owner and operator of Sunshine Holdings, the parent company of ETS, Australian Gold, and Helios, for 22 years, before its sale in July 2006. She currently serves on the Board's Advancement Committee. Edna is the parent of two Brebeuf alumni.

Ms. Patricia A. Halloran
Patricia Halloran is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Developmental Pediatrics at Riley Children's Hospital. She joined the Board in 2004 and is chair of the Educational Programs and Planning Committee. She is also a member of the ISACS Steering Committee and serves on the Executive Committee. Patricia is a parent of two Brebeuf alumni.

Mr. Jon Hand
Jon Hand is the owner of 4JEnt, a newly formed construction company. He played nine seasons with the Indianapolis Colts before retirement due to injury. Jon joined the Board in 2007 and serves on the Jesuit Identity Committee. He is the parent of a Brebeuf alumna and a current Brebeuf student.

Mr. J. Mark Howell
J. Mark Howell, new to the Brebeuf Board in 2008, is Co-Chief Operating Officer, Brightpoint, Inc., and President, Brightpoint Americas. His daughter, Molly, will be an incoming freshman at Brebeuf in the fall of 2008. Mark serves on the Governance Committee and the Jesuit Identity Committee.

Rev. Eric Knapp, S.J.
Rev. Eric Knapp, S.J., joined the Board in September 2007 and serves as a member of the Advancement Committee. Fr. Knapp is Pastor of St. Xaxier Church in Cincinnati. His duties include ministerial, pastoral and administrative responsibilities in the 1,500 household urban parish.

Mr. Robert J. Laikin
Robert Laikin is CEO and Chairman of the Board of Brightpoint, Inc. He joined the Brebeuf Jesuit Board in 2005. He has served on the Admissions Committee, and is a member of the Governance Committee. Robert is the parent of a Brebeuf alumnus and a current Brebeuf student. He and his wife, Gina, hosted the Magis donor event in 2006.

Mr. Kevin McGoff '71
Kevin McGoff is a Brebeuf alumnus (Class of 1971). He is an attorney at Bingham McHale and the immediate past president of the Indianapolis Bar Association. Kevin joined the Brebeuf Board in 2004, after serving on the Alumni Board. He has served as chair of the Admissions Committee and now a member of the Jesuit Identity and Finance Committees. He is the father of three Brebeuf alumni.

Mr. Thomas McGowan '83
Thomas McGowan is a Brebeuf alumnus (Class of 1983). Professionally, Tom is Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Kite Realty Group.He joined the Board in 2003 and has served on the Advancement Committee. He now serves as co-chair of the Building and Grounds Committee, and is also a member of the Executive Committee.

Rev. Patrick McGrath, S.J.
Rev. Patrick McGrath, S.J., joined the Brebeuf Board in 2006. He was also ordained in 2006, and now serves as the Assistant for Secondary Education for the Chicago Province. On the Board, he is a member of the Jesuit Identity Committee.

Mrs. Katherine B. McKinney
Katherine McKinney is a former staff member of Brebeuf and is mother to four Brebeuf alumni. She joined the Board in 2003. Katherine serves on the Advancement Committee and the Jesuit Identity Committee, and she is a past recipient of the President’s Medal.

Fr. Bill Murphy, SJ
Fr. Bill Murphy, S.J., is a newly ordained Jesuit, and has joined the staff of St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati as Special Assistant to the President (Fr. Walter Deye, S.J., former President of Brebeuf Jesuit). Fr. Murphy joined the Board in 2008, and serves on the Finance Committee.

Mrs. Morna Patrick
Morna Patrick is the parent of two Brebeuf Jesuit alumni. Professionally, she is president of Total Dimensions. Her husband, Wayne, is a former Brebeuf Board member. Morna is the former chair of the Governance Committee, and now serves on the Educational Programs and Planning Committee and the Jesuit Identity Committee.

Mr. Brian Payne
Brian Payne, new to the Board in 2008, is President of Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF) and The Indianapolis Foundation. He is a native Californian. Before making his home in Indianapolis in 1993, he worked for various theatre producing organizations in Southern California. He will bring his expertise to the Advancement Committee.

Sr. Norma Rocklage, OSF, joined the Board in 2003. She is a member of the Jesuit Identity Committee. Sr. Norma is the Executive Director of Educational Formation Outreach at Marian College.

Ernest Vargo is Senior Consultant for Johnson Grossnickle and Associates.He joined the Board in 2004. He is a former chair of the Finance Committee. He is chair of the Governance Committee and a member of the Executive Committee. Ernest is the father of a Brebeuf Jesuit alumna.

Rev. Thomas C. Widner, S.J., is Rector of the Brebeuf Jesuit Community. In the school he serves as Vice President of Mission and Identity. Fr. Tom is an Indianapolis native and former editor of the Criterion. He joined the Board in 2004. He chairs the Jesuit Identity Committee and serves on the Executive Committee.

Mr. Ian Worden
Ian Worden is the System Vice President of Finance and CFO of the St. Vincent Health System. Besides being a current parent, Ian has also served on the Finance Committee of the Board for the past several years. New to the Board in 2008, Ian will continue his work on the Finance Committee. His son, Grant, is a senior at Brebeuf this fall.
