	Charles Fanara English Teacher 317.524.7007 cfanara@brebeuf.org In addition to teaching English at Brebeuf Jesuit, Chuck serves as moderator of the school's White River Academic League / Brain Game Team. He has a BA from Bowling Green State University and an MA from the University of Indianapolis.
	Jana Haffley '86 English Department Chair 317.524.7008 jhaffley@brebeuf.org Jana has taught English at Brebeuf Jesuit for 12 years and serves as the department's chair. She is a certified ACP teacher with Indiana University (Advanced Composition). Jana has a BA and an MA from Indiana University and received her certification to teach from IUPUI.
	Erin Hawkins English Teacher 317.524.7009 ehawkins@brebeuf.org Erin teaches Journalism and Honors English 10. She serves as moderator of The Arrow, the student newspaper, and is co-moderator of the junior class. She received a BA and an MA from Indiana University.
	Annie Hilbert English Teacher 317.524.7038 ahilbert@brebeuf.org Annie teaches German IV-V, English 9, and honors English 11. She is the moderator of the German Club and the Putt-Putt Club. Annie has a BA from Anderson University.

He has a BA in English literature from Nazareth College of Rochester (NY); an MA in English literature from Loyola University Chicago; a M Div from Weston Jesuit School of Theology; and an Ed M from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
	Kevin McKernan English Teacher Kevin comes to us from Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Illinois, where he taught English and moderated the improvisational theatre troupe.
	Janice D. Singh English Teacher 317.524.7011 jsingh@brebeuf.org Jan has taught at Brebeuf Jesuit for 12 years and is moderator of the school's Asian Club. She completed a BS at the University of Michigan and an MS at Indiana University.
	Tavis Rieger English Teacher Tavis earned his BA at Wabash College, his Masters at Earlham College, and has spent several years teaching in Indiana. Most recently, he served as English department chair at Options Charter School.
	Sharon L. Sperry, PhD English Teacher 317.524.7012 ssperry@brebeuf.org Sharon teaches Honors English 9, English 12, and ACP English. She has been an educator for over 30 years. Sharon moderates the school's Academic Super Bowl - English team. A former director of the Advance College Project at Indiana University, Sharon has a BA from Butler University, an MAT from Indiana University, and a PhD from Indiana University.

	Devon Zingale English Teacher Devon brings eight years of teaching experience in both private and public schools to the English department, as well as other work and travel experience that will enrich her classes at Brebeuf.
