RESPONSIBILITIES

(Note: The following list of responsibilities is not exhaustive. Others may be assigned, subject to reasonable accommodations.)

  • Assist in the planning, development, and implementation of the admissions recruitment plan.
  • Recruit prospective students by representing Brebeuf Jesuit at events both on and off campus.
  • Provide informative tours for prospective families during events and by appointment.
  • Assist the Brebeuf Jesuit Admissions Committee in evaluating and executing admissions decisions for incoming freshmen and transfer candidates.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the shadow program for prospective students to ensure that visitors have a personalized experience that matches their interests.
  • Oversee the Admissions Ambassador training and leadership program for shadow day hosts, student panelists, student tours, and event support roles.
  • Develop strategic outreach and follow-up plans for recruiting candidates seeking admission.
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts with other school departments, the Mothers Association, and the Dad’s Club.
  • Assist with Admissions event planning details and logistics

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Sensitivity to and appreciation for diversity, with demonstrated ability to relate to individuals with compassion
  • Ability to excel in a team environment
  • Excellent writing, speaking and communication skills
  • Experience working with adolescents

Preferred

  • Experience in admissions within an educational and/or independent school environment
  • Working knowledge of the Society of Jesus and its role in education
