Freezell Brown has dedicated 26 years to Brebeuf Jesuit in multiple capacities: He started as an English and Religious Studies teacher, but his dedication to diversity education came to the forefront.
For all but two years of his tenure at Brebeuf, Freezell has worked to educate both the students and staff on diversity topics, keeping current as the times have changed. While Freezell has only occupied a desk in the English office for a short time, his presence in the English department is palpable. He has spearheaded the English 12 curriculum, bringing a world-view to students as they prepare to move on from Brebeuf Jesuit. He will be greatly missed, not just in the English department, but throughout the halls of Brebeuf. And if anyone has ever been blessed with hearing him sing, we feel that his bass voice will echo through these halls.
