Maria Brown has been a dedicated teacher at Brebeuf for 33 years.  In that time she has worked with thousands of students both in and out of the classroom.

Her teaching career includes French 1 and 2 and every level of Spanish as well as a five year role as World Language department chair.  Her students and her colleagues know that her knowledge of the Spanish language is extensive, but they also know that she has a heart of gold and cares deeply about them as people.  Outside of the classroom she has directed the Barcelona exchange program, participated in the Kenya Program, Project LEAD, Hands Across Campus and the Diversity Advocates Group.  If you have ever attended a football, basketball or volleyball game, you know that she is a devoted Braves Super Fan.  Three of Maria’s children are Brebeuf alums.  We are so thankful for all that she has done at Brebeuf, and we congratulate her on her retirement, but we will miss her dearly!
