Beginning in 2019-2020, Brebeuf Jesuit will be one of the first schools in the state of Indiana to offer the new AP Capstone Program from College Board.

This course of study is for students who are interested in doing rigorous, college-level, independent research during their junior and senior years. The AP Capstone at Brebeuf Jesuit will add the opportunity for students to complete a widely recognized diploma program, with the distinctive approach of Jesuit education.

Jesuit education asks students to make a personal connection to their studies. It engages students with critical issues on the local, national, and global levels, and it asks them to consider how they can make a positive impact as men and women for others.

Our curriculum is already geared in this direction, throughout the academic disciplines, and the AP Capstone program is a great opportunity for students who want to extend this idea even further and pursue an area of interest in depth.
