The primary registration window for summer school for all students will be open from March 5-20. For the Class of 2025, summer school enrollment forms will be emailed to parents on March 5. For current students, registration forms will be available in the Portals by 8:00 a.m. on March 5. A separate email will be sent to both parents on that date with a direct link to the registration form. To access this registration form, parents will need to log in to their Portals account and click on Forms.
At this time, we are hopeful that summer school will be held fully in-person. Final determination regarding mode of instruction (fully in-person or hybrid) will be made in a timely manner in light of health and safety needs. Any registration can be canceled, without penalty, after determination is made if family comfort levels change as a result of our decision. Students registering for summer school should plan on in person attendance every day of the session.
Spots in each class are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. All registrations received by March 20 will receive a follow-up email from Amy Pitcher with either a confirmation of enrollment, or alternate options, by March 30. Registration requests after March 20 may still be submitted, and will be processed as space is available.
Please note, the Class of 2025 will not have access to the Portals until June, 2021.
- The course fee for Brebeuf Jesuit students is $625 for each course. All course fees will be billed once the session has begun.
- Community Service is an abridged course. The fee for this course is $300.
- The Study Skills workshop is $250.
There is no deposit required to register for summer school.
Attendance is crucial during summer session courses. In summer school, each day of class is equivalent to one week of class during the school year. Students who miss more than one day of class will be required to withdraw and will not receive credit for the course. Drop-off and Pick-up
Students should be dropped off and picked up at the Gym Lobby Entrance.
This entrance will be open and staffed beginning at 7:15 a.m. each day of summer school. As you drive in front of the building along the curb to drop-off/pick-up, there are three eastbound lanes. Traffic is one way until 7:45 a.m. Please only stop and drop off while you are in the curb lane and the middle lane, as the left outermost lane will be for student drivers proceeding to the east lot until 7:45 a.m.
Students must have the required texts for the first day of class. All Brebeuf Jesuit textbooks must be ordered online through MBS Direct at mbsdirect.net. For more information, please contact Corey Pettigrew at 317.524.7173 or email@example.com.
Physical Education Requirements
There are no uniforms required for Physical Education. Students are asked to wear appropriate athletic attire.
Please note that priority placement is given to seniors for Community Service. All juniors will be placed on a waitlist. If and when space becomes available, junior families will be contacted for placement.
