On behalf of the Brebeuf Jesuit Alumni Association Board of Directors, we are delighted to invite you to be a part of the annual Braves Open Golf Outing.
This fun event not only offers our alumni and friends an opportunity to come together for an afternoon of golf and camaraderie, but it also provides critical support for a cause we all hold dear – Brebeuf Jesuit. Through the generosity of our sponsors and players we raised over $24,000 in 2022! In addition to a variety of initiatives the Alumni Board leads, funds from the 2022 event were used to support the St. Ignatius Scholarship, which provides book grants and lunch stipends for our students with the greatest financial needs. Central to our mission and core values as a Jesuit institution is a commitment to ensuring our school remains accessible to all qualified students, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances - the Alumni Board is proud to support this program and the education of all students at Brebeuf Jesuit.

Braves Open 2023 Day-Of Contests
Save time on Thursday and pre-register for day-of activities now!
In order to determine if someone from your foursome has already purchased any of the following items already, you can verify through this spreadsheet.
Games and Contests to Register Ahead of Time:
Maroon and Gold Foursome Premium Package – $150/Foursome
Putting Contest
After your foursome shoots Hole 18, swing by the practice putting green for your chance at the putting contest. Tiebreaker round, if needed, will take place following the round at reception. Winner takes home a beverage tub stocked full of fine wine and liquor.
Mulligans
As part of your foursome premium package, each player in your foursome will receive one mulligan to be used whenever you need it most.
Forward Tee
As part of your foursome premium package, each player in your foursome will receive one forward tee to be used whenever you need it most. Men shoot from the ladies’ tee box. Ladies shoot from the fairway.
Purchase a Stroke! – $50/Stroke; Limit 2/Foursome
Help your foursome get one step closer to the winner’s stand by purchasing a stroke to deduct from your final score.
Putting Contest – $20/Golfer; Limit 2 Entrances/Golfer
After your foursome shoots Hole 18, swing by the practice putting green for your chance at the putting contest. Tiebreaker round, if needed, will take place following the round. Winner takes home a beverage tub stocked full of fine wine and liquor.
Other Games and Contests Available Day-Of to Look Forward To:
50/50 Raffle – 1 for $5 or 3 for $10; Cash/Check Only
At the registration table, as well as from our volunteers on the beverage cart, you will have the chance to purchase raffle tickets for a 50/50 raffle. Brebeuf Jesuit will keep 50% of the raffle dollars raised, the winning ticket will take home the other 50%. Tickets are 1 for $5 or 3 for $10. In accordance with Indiana Gaming Commission code, all raffle tickets must be purchased with cash or check.
Longest Drive
The player at the end of the day with the longest recorded drive on Hole 14 will receive $$$ towards the Broadmoor Country Club Pro Shop. Winner announced following the event.
Closest to the Pin
The player at the end of the day with the closest put to the pin on Hole 11 will receive $$$ towards the Broadmoor Country Club Pro Shop. Winner announced following the event.
Par 3 Challenge by Dixon Golf
The Dixon Challenge where everyone will receive a free golf ball whether or not they play our game... For $10.00 you get 2 tee shots + 1-year subscription to Golf Digest + $40 off Dixongolf.com + and if your tee shot lands on the green, you win a sleeve of golf balls. If the entire team plays, they get an automatic birdie.
Par 5 Challenge by Dixon Golf
$20 to the Aurelius Challenge on Hole 12 will choose between a wedge/hybrid (+S&H) + $150 off certificate for a Zovatti watch + 2 raffle tickets + 2 swings from the tee. If either shot lands in one of 10 hula hoops the donor will win their choice between a brand new Aurelius driver and a brand new $500 Zovatti watch. At the conclusion of the event we will raffle off the choice between a brand new Aurelius driver and a brand new $500 Zovatti watch to someone in the pool of donors.
