Celebrating Philanthropy with the Miller Family
The Miller Family
When Brebeuf Jesuit welcomed the Miller family in 2014, it created an educational and community foundation that would set the trajectory for their three sons…all with different interests – Jack ’18, Parker ‘21 and Charlie ‘25. From the beginning Paige and Thad immersed themselves in the Brebeuf community – Paige, a staple in the Mother’s Association and two time Bistro Chair, and Thad a member of the Brebeuf Jesuit Advancement Committee.
“One of the greatest testaments to Jack and Parker’s education and their time at Brebeuf has been seeing their success at Notre Dame and Miami University and the opportunities for which they have been a part. The involvement in the Brebeuf community helped them to not only grow in their own abilities and faith, but to encourage others to do the same…from athletics to performing arts, fundraising for Leukemia and Lymphoma, to active leadership on Kairos teams, Jack and Parker hit the ground running as Braves. And now, Charlie is loving it and paving his own way too!
They are encouraged to be themselves, to stand in their own shoes and be comfortable. As a parent you want others to see your child for their God given self, to see who they are capable of becoming and to help them achieve that. With three different boys, I have watched and felt this play out so beautifully at Brebeuf – knowing who they are and who they are meant to be, it’s incredibly powerful… truly a Brave journey of becoming men for others.
