Emma Overman’s Work to be Displayed in the Cordell Gallery
The Visual & Performing Arts Department and the Mothers Association welcome Emma Overman to the Cordell Gallery (facing the Principal’s Office). Overman has illustrated books, had one of her books (“Chumpkin”) featured in the 2003 White House Christmas tour, and won two international illustration competitions. Overman Describes herself as, “An appreciator of contrasts, I paint from internal landscapes that to me are both warm and fantastical.” Overman’s studio is located at the Harrison Center for the Arts here in Indianapolis.
