On Tuesday, December 11, several Ignatian Scholars, Maggie Gonzalez, Lilly Stella, Sydney Ludwig, Miguel Spaulding-Price, Camille Hirschfeld, Zainab Hassan, Eli Franklin helped Lance Thomas and his mother Carolyn Mosby, wrap gifts for Lance’s organization, Lance’s Gift.

In all, over 250 gift bags were filled with scarves, mittens, notebooks, etc. were wrapped and placed in boxes in less than an hour after school!

Lance’s Gift is an organization focused on helping those less fortunate – specifically the elderly and homeless in Indiana. In 2018, Lance’s Gift will purchase more than 400 Christmas gifts for the elderly and senior residents of Nora Commons in Indianapolis. With the help of volunteers and donors, Lance and his mother raise funds to provide needed items to our target population during the holiday season.

Lance’s Gift was launched in 2017 by Brebeuf freshman Lance Williams. He raised almost $3,000 in 2017 and is on target to raise $3,500 in 2018.

We want to thank Lance and his mother, Carolyn, for presenting this opportunity to help out with such a great cause!
