Jen LaMaster Accepts Leadership Role with Midwest Jesuit Province
We are pleased to announce that Assistant Principal Jen LaMaster has been appointed as the Associate Provincial Assistant for Secondary and Pre-Secondary Education for the Jesuits Midwest Province.
Jen’s exciting new position means she will be stepping down as Assistant Principal and leaving Brebeuf Jesuit as she transitions to her new opportunity this summer.
We have been blessed to have Jen serve our community for 14 years as Educational Technology Coordinator, Director of Faculty Development, and Assistant Principal. She also served as Department Chair of Information Systems and Services, led our Magis Faculty/Staff Ignatian Formation program, and served as Brebeuf’s Corporate Test Coordinator and Federal Title Funding Coordinator.
In his announcement, Greg VanSlambrook said, “I’m proud on behalf of Brebeuf that the Jesuit Province has recognized her gifts and that she has this opportunity to guide the Jesuit educational mission on a larger scale. Please join me in congratulating Jen!”
In her new role, Jen will support and guide all 23 Jesuit K-12 schools across the Midwest. She will coordinate the network’s professional development and collaboration opportunities, including various JSN conferences and meetings. On behalf of the Provincial, she will also guide the essential sponsorship review process for schools, travel to school campuses and the Chicago office frequently, and support the schools with anything and everything that comes up.
Her husband George, children Linnie ’17 and Will ’23, and cats Toast and Butter will still be in familiar surroundings, as Jen’s new leadership role allows her to remain in Indianapolis. While we will miss her and her unwavering dedication to our school, we are so excited to wish her well on the next step of her journey. Congratulations and thank you, Jen.
