Student Spotlight – Bo Richey ’17
Loves About Brebeuf
I love the family culture at Brebeuf. I came from Zionsville Middle School and the environment was just not the same. A large part of the family-feeling you get comes from the faculty. I love how teachers are willing to create a relationship that extends past the classroom. This relationship, I believe, is a vital part to the learning process because it is easier to learn from someone that you know cares about you.
Picking one class that is my favorite is very hard, but it is between AP Statistics and ACP Calculus both taught by Mr. Graham. While both of these classes are challenging, Mr. Graham makes the material fun to learn. He always give us real life applications to what we are learning. I enjoy going to both of these classes every day.
I am committed to Lander University in South Carolina to play baseball. While at Lander, I plan to get a dual degree from Lander and Clemson University in Computer or Chemical engineering. If I decide that I do not want to major in Engineering, I plan on majoring in Accounting.

What has been your favorite Brebeuf experience or most memorable moment so far?
My favorite memory at Brebeuf was beating New Palestine in the Sectional Championship and also beating Zionsville in baseball 9-3.
What is your favorite part about the holiday season?
My favorite part of the holiday season would be getting together with my family. I have two older siblings, one in college at Dayton University and one that just graduated last year from Purdue, that I love spending time with. I also love Christmas because I enjoy seeing their faces light up when they open the gifts they receive.
