Loves About Brebeuf
I love the fact that everyone is welcome at Brebeuf. No matter who you are, the teachers, faculty, staff, students, and coaches all support you. There are tons of clubs and communities within Brebeuf to support one another, and I truly find that special. I love the fact that I can be Jewish at Brebeuf and feel like I belong. Brebeuf makes it easy to find your passion and live that passion. I love Brebeuf because of all the opportunities it has provided me over the past four years.
My favorite class at Brebeuf is AP Calculus BC with Mr. Elliott. I enjoy coming to class every day and learning from him. I love the atmosphere in his classroom, and especially in his office hours. I truly feel welcome to learn any time throughout the day. I also really enjoy AP Physics C with Mr. Ellis. I am going to be studying a lot of physics in college, and he is guiding me along the right path.
I plan on studying engineering, specifically mechanical engineering. I am also interested in a double major with a degree in business. I am looking into walking on a lacrosse team in the fall to continue playing, and I am also planning on playing intramural basketball. I am not sure where I want to go to school next year, but Vanderbilt and Michigan are on my list.

I attended the Summer College Engineering Exposure Program (SCEEP) at the University of Michigan this past summer for 11 days. I had the opportunity to work with professors and engineering students to solve complex problems in the engineering field. My specific problem was securing the cyberspace. While I was there, I learned a lot about engineering and college life.
What is your current favorite show or series on tv, Netflix, etc?
My current favorite show is definitely Game of Thrones. My favorite series of all time is Entourage, but GOT is right up there.
What are your plans for Fall Break?
I plan on writing college essays and applying to some schools. I am possibly traveling to Lake Monroe for the weekend. If not, I plan on visiting a college or two to help decide where I want to go next year. I am planning to be done with all my applications by the end of Fall Break.
If you could travel to any place in the world, where would you go and why?
I would travel to Copenhagen, Denmark because I think it looks really cool. I like to travel and see different places, and Denmark is somewhere I wouldn’t normally get to travel to. I have heard from friends that Copenhagen is the most amazing place they have ever visited, and I would love the opportunity to see it someday.
What advice would you offer our Braves in the Class of 2021?
Make the most out of your high school career and don’t take any of it for granted. The past 3+ years at Brebeuf have been the best of my life, but they have gone by incredibly fast. I would give anything to be back in my freshman year with four years ahead of me. Enjoy yourselves here at Brebeuf because it goes by in an instant.
