Loves About Brebeuf

Both my older sisters attended and loved Brebeuf, and I am so happy that my brother and I can do the same. I love how it is possible to be friends with anyone here. Over the past three and a half years, I have been able to connect with students in different grades, different extracurriculars, different backgrounds. I can greet and be greeted by a variety of people in the hallway, students and faculty alike.

Future Plans

I am attending Villanova University in the fall (Go Cats!!((: ). I plan to study in their business school and potentially major in Marketing, along with getting a minor in Sustainability.

  • Every member in my immediate family, so far, has experienced a national championship in men’s basketball while in college.

Where would you travel if time and money weren’t an issue?

I would love to backpack around Europe someday. More specifically, Italy, Hungary, Austria, Switzerland, and Germany. I actually have a deal with one of my good friends to do so after college!

What is your silliest or most irrational fear?

I am terrified of human anatomy. Many of my friends are double-jointed in some way, and they’ll just do the weirdest things with their limbs, and it feels like my own joints will disconnect or something. Also veins, which makes getting blood drawn quite scary.

What is something you have learned in the last week?

I learned that during the Cold War, both the US and the Soviets considered nuking the moon.

What are some small things that make your day better?

Minimal traffic, Chemsteb’s chocolate chip cookies, random dancing, a solid thunderstorm, when Nina Jain gives me a handshake every morning during Zero Hour, and blasting music on the car ride home with my brother.

What is your current favorite show or series on TV, Netflix, etc?

I watch a lot of Project Runway, Top Chef, and The Great British Bake Off, because I am obsessed with competition shows, especially those pertaining to fashion and/or food. Also, Parks and Rec is better than The Office!

If you had to describe your senior class as a current or past sitcom family, what show would you choose and why?

Unfortunately, I have not seen many sitcoms, but from what I know, I’d say my senior class is a lot like the family in Full House. I think the Bro-cial Studies Office can be compared to the three men in the show – Danny, Jesse, and Joey – who raise the three girls – DJ, Stephanie, and Michelle (the senior class, in this analogy). While Bro-cial Studies didn’t single-handedly “raise” my senior class, they contributed to our development throughout Brebeuf, giving us the opportunity to be goofy and become closer with one another.
