Loves About Brebeuf
There are so many things I love about Brebeuf. The thing that has become most apparent to me over the past couple of months, for obvious reasons, is how committed all of our teachers and counselors are to helping us with anything we need in the college application process. If it weren’t for Brebeuf, I pretty much would have had to do all of it by myself, and I guarantee I would have done something wrong. Along with that, I feel like Brebeuf has been such a great factor in preparing me for college as a whole. I have really been given everything I will need to succeed later in life because I know all my teachers and counselors really care about me and what I will do in the future.
I have had two favorite classes. My number one is definitely band with Mr. Hoerneman and Mr. Lee. I have been playing music since I was five years old, and being able to still do it in high school, especially under the direction of Mr. Hoerneman and Mr. Lee, has been amazing. It is one of the classes I look forward too every day. My other favorite class is AP Government with Mr. Kantz. This class has truly peaked my interest in government as a whole. It has helped me to figure out my political views and be able to express them in an environment where it is encouraged, even if people don’t agree with me.
I plan on attending either Fordham or IU, and major in accounting and/or sports marketing, with a possible minor in either actuarial science or political science.

What has been your favorite Brebeuf experience or most memorable moment so far?
In the summer of 2015, after my sophomore year, I took advantage of the opportunity to go to Europe for two weeks with a select group of musicians from our school band and orchestra to play for several audiences. We traveled through Switzerland, Italy, and France, and each place we went was more awesome than the last.
What is your favorite part about the holiday season?
I really love how the weather changes. I lived in Las Vegas for 10 years and only saw snow once while I lived there, so getting to be surrounded by snow for months at a time every year is always something I look forward to.
Have any big plans for the upcoming break?
Right after Christmas, I’m going to see my family in New Jersey and take another visit to Fordham.
