Student Spotlight – Madeline Hull ’18

Loves About Brebeuf

One of my favorite things about Brebeuf is the relationships built between faculty and students. It’s really awesome to find a group of teachers that don’t mind taking extra time from their busy days to help you in any way they can. I came from the Carmel school district so this was something different for me my freshman year. Brebeuf truly has a community built like no other.

Favorite Class

There are so many to choose from! My all time favorite class has to be Freshman year english with Mrs. Huntington. Currently, I would have to say my favorite class is Intro to Entrepreneurship with Mr. VanSlambrook or Anatomy with Mrs. McCarter.

Future Plans

I hope to attend either Purdue University or Wisconsin University. I plan on majoring in Speech Pathology and plan on helping kids with this degree post-college. All my applications have been sent, so hopefully I start to hear back very soon!

Random Facts

I share a birthday with my dog.

In the summer, I am a camp counselor at Camp Tecumseh.

I love thunderstorms.

I am an adventure seeker.

What is your current favorite show or series on tv, Netflix, etc?

I have so many favorites! However, I think that my all time favorite show would have to be How I Met Your Mother

If you could travel to any place in the world, where would you go and why?

If I could travel any place in the world, I would probably go to Europe, especially London. My aunt lived in London when I was little and I think that is what sparked my interest. When I was 3, we took a trip to London, however being so young I don’t remember a single thing. I’d like to go back in order to truly explore the city.

What is your favorite part of being a member of the Dance Team?

I think one thing that most people don’t know is that dance is year-round. Our season runs from June – March and because of this, our team has gotten very close. We are more of a family than a team, which is something I really love.

What advice would you offer our Braves in the Class of 2021?

Step out of your comfort zone and don’t be afraid to try new things! Brebeuf has so many opportunities to offer, so take advantage of them! You will meet so many new people and maybe even some interests you didn’t know you have! High school goes by in a flash so make the most of it!
