What is Brebeuf Bistro?

Brebeuf Bistro is the school’s largest fundraiser hosted by the Brebeuf Jesuit Mothers Association. Each year we gather together to celebrate our wonderful community and support our school with a live and silent auction. This year, we will gather virtually to participate in the event. Proceeds from Bistro directly impact the students, faculty, staff and programs at Brebeuf Jesuit. The revenue from Bistro allows the Mothers Association to support a wide variety of initiatives at the school—including scholarships and financial aid, co-curricular programs, faculty professional development and special events.

Why should I go to Brebeuf Bistro?

Brebeuf brings families and students from many different sending schools together. Bistro is an opportunity to enjoy old friends, meet new ones and support our fantastic school by the purchase of your ticket alone or participating in our silent and live auctions.

Are there assigned tables?

Yes, we will have assigned tables. If you are interested in captaining a table, contact Elliott Pruitt at lisa_elliott@msn.com. If you register individually or as a couple for Bistro, we will make all attemps to put you at a table with parents who have students in the same class.

How do I purchase a ticket?

Tickets are $150 a person or $300 a couple and are available by clicking here.

Am I expected to bid on something?

No, you are only expected to enjoy yourself! However, keep in mind that there will be silent auction items you can bid on for as little as $20. You can also support Bistro in a number of other ways:

  • Become a sponsor at the various sponsorship levels
  • Team up with other parents for a one-of-a-kind priceless experience
  • Snap up a gift card from our Instabuys

How do the live and silent auctions work?

Each year, we have exciting live and silent auction items for you to bid on either alone or as part of a group of friends. In years past, auction items have included vacations, sports packages, “Brebeuf Gems”, jewelry, spa and fitness packages, gift cards and even a puppy! You will receive instructions along with a link to register to bid.

What is Fund-A-Need?

Fund-A-Need is a giving opportunity that meets a current need of the school. In the past, this has  funded bleachers in the West Gym, the Bravewalk, the Brebeuf Fund and Science Wing renovations.

What is the dress code?

This year’s dress code is cocktail attire!

How long does the evening last?

This year’s event will run from 6:30-10:30 p.m. with the silent auction closing around 9:00 p.m.

Can I preview some of the auction items before the event? Can I place bids on them beforehand?

Once the list of auction items is available for viewing, Brebeuf will send out an announcement. Online bidding is expected to begin a week prior to the event.  Several communications will be sent directly to the primary email address on file with Brebeuf and information can be found in our weekly InDepth newsletter. As the event nears, you will be assigned a bidder number through our auction provider, Qtego, which will allow you to utilize your phone for bidding and tracking your bids. A credit card is required.
