The Brebeuf Food Drive is Coming!
Brebeuf Jesuit is once again holding a canned food drive during Lent, March 6 – April 18, 2019.
For years, our students, faculty, staff, and families have participated in this meaningful drive supporting St. Vincent de Paul’s food pantry, donating enough cans of food to fill two semi-trucks! In addition, cash donations from our school community are able to buy tens of thousands of pounds of food each year.
Homeroom classrooms at Brebeuf will hold collections to once again compete for the grand prize – a pizza party. To maximize our school’s impact, this year’s goal is for every student and staff member to collect 20 cans each.
St. Vincent de Paul feeds roughly 3,300 families every week, or roughly 12,000 individuals, many of whom are children and the elderly. Every can is helpful!
How to Help
To contribute to the drive, send any canned food items to Brebeuf Jesuit with a Brebeuf student, who will deliver the items to their homeroom collection. To contribute monetarily (Make checks out to: St. Vincent de Paul, memo: Food Pantry), and bring donations of support to the Main Lobby Desk at Brebeuf Jesuit.
By coming together during this food drive, the entire Brebeuf Jesuit community can make an incredible difference in the lives of thousands in need here in Indianapolis.
