Welcome Reggie Simmons, Assistant Principal to Brebeuf Jesuit

Brebeuf Jesuit is pleased to announce that Mr. Reginald (Reggie) Simmons will join Brebeuf Jesuit beginning in July 2018, in the position of Assistant Principal.

Reggie brings 20 years of experience as a professional educator serving the Indianapolis area. For the past 13 years, he has been an administrator for Hamilton Southeastern Schools, first as Dean of Students at Hamilton Southeastern High School, and currently serving as Assistant Principal at Riverside Junior High School. Prior to his roles in administration, he was a teacher in Washington Township and Perry Township Schools in Indianapolis. He is a licensed teacher and administrator for the State of Indiana, and currently holds an Adjunct Faculty position in the Indiana University School of Education at IUPUI.

Reggie was raised in Indianapolis, and is a product of Catholic education. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from IUPUI, with training in social studies education and learning differences. His Master of Science degree in School Administration is from Butler University. Reggie is the father of four children, and serves in several volunteer leadership roles in the community. These include roles with his faith community Heartland Church, with the Center for Leadership Development, and with the 100 Black Men of Indianapolis organization.
